At the age of 54, I had to leave a 21-year marriage. A few months later I packed a minivan that I converted for camping, put my German Shepherd Awny in the back and set out to drive across the country. I hadn't camped since my teens. I had no idea what I was doing.
I went anyway.
I'm Nancy Osier, MS ~school counselor for 25 years and certified life coach for 14 years. I know transition. I've sat with people in the hardest moments of their lives. And then I lived one of my own.
That trip didn't fix me. But it gave me something I hadn't had in years: space to hear myself think. Space to remember who I was before I got so busy being everything to everyone else. I came home with clarity, and the beginning of something new.
She Went Anyway is a community for women in transition, whether it's due to divorce, retirement, empty nest, or loss. It's for women who are ready to find out who they are in the next chapter of their lives.
We travel together, but we go solo. We share our journeys and cheer one another on.
You can too. And you don't have to travel far to begin your journey of self-discovery.
Women over 50 navigating divorce, retirement, empty nest, or loss, who are ready to stop waiting and start moving.
We use solo travel as a tool for self-discovery. Whether it's a road trip or a walk around your own neighborhood, every journey counts.
You travel on your own terms, but you're never alone. The She Went Anyway community travels together, each woman at her own pace, cheering each other on.
